how to apply for admission

The admission process is simple and fully Online. You need not visit the College Campus for the purpose of admission at this time of Pandemic. The details of the courses can be obtained from the College website www.nefcollege.com or you can download Prospectus from the link given below.

Students seeking admission into a course conducted by the College should apply online at https://nefc.nexterp.in/nlp/nlp/admission-login. Students need to register his/her name in Admission Portal by filling up information as required in the Form. Once registration is completed you will be automatically proceed to the Admission Form. Then you need to fill up / follow the following steps (1) Student Information (2) Contact Information (3) Academic Details and (4) Upload Documents. Once documents is uploaded, you need to pay Application Fee amounting to Rs. 500/- online as prompted by the Portal. You may opt to pay the Application Fee via (a) Credit/Debit Card of any Bank, (b) Online Banking, (c) Wallet or (4) UPI. Once, the application fee is paid, you will get confirmation page wherein you can print out your admission form. Simultaneously an SMS will be delivered to your registered mobile number which shall contain link to your admission portal along with your 'User Name' and 'Password'. You need to save it till admission process is over. Even after payment you can upload documents or can upload appropriate document in the admission portal.

Now your application is under review of the Admission Office of the College. Once your provisal eligibility is verified, person concerned shall contact you for futher follow-up action for admission. Alternatively, Application form and prospectus can also be obtained from the College Office on payment of Rs. 500/- in person or by sending a Demand Draft of Rs. 500/- made in favour of 'NEF College'. .Application forms complete in all respects and with all the stipulated documents, should reach the Office of The Principal, NEF College, Lokhra Lalganesh Road, Saukuchi, Guwahati-781040.

DOCUMENTS TO BE UPLOADED ONLINE / SUBMITTED (IF OFFLINE ADMISSION)

The Orginal douments shall be verified before commencement of Classes :

• HSLC Examination                               
• Higher Secondary Examination
• Graduation Examination, if applicable
• Any other course done by the candidate
• Transfer certificate (if applicable).
• A character certificate from the institution last attended
• A letter from the employer, if employed at the time of admission, releasing the candidate to attend the course on a full time basis
• Four passport size photographs
• ST / SC / OBC / MOBC Certificate (if applicable)
• Migration Certificate (if applicable).
• Fees for the first semester are to be paid at the time of admission

If any statement furnished by the student is found to be incorrect at any time, she/he is liable to be debarred permanently from the course.

Admission taken in NEF College is provisional and subject to the final approval from the concerned University.
