The Department of Assamese (অসমীয়াবিভাগ) of NEF College established to impart courses of Assamese language and literature. This Department hope to strive for literary & cultural preservation through seminars, workshops, popular talks and various activities. The Department is fully devoted to the analytical tasks for critical acclamation on Assamese literature, language and culture of Assam. The following courses are being offered in the Department.
