ABOUT THE SEMINAR:
The goal of the program Viksit Bharat @2047 is to transform India into a developed nation tio by 2047. Effective transformation of the Education system is a primary goal of this project. The New Education Policy 2020 is considered as the first step to achieving India's educational development goals by 2047 in redesigning education system starting from the primary schooling to higher education institutions. Keeping in view the goal of Viksit Bharat as well as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the NEP aims to meet the industrial demands and new technological advancements with Skill enhancement courses, vocational training, internship programmes and courses introduced to build up career aligned to the shifting market. Further, the NEP 2020 is set to profoundly reshape professional education, more particularly the legal education in India by prioritizing multi-disciplinary learning, skill development, and ethical considerations. This transformative approach aims to cultivate a new generation of legal professionals equipped for an inclusive, equitable and sustainable future. NEP 2020 plays a fundamental role in India's journey toward becoming a "Viksit Bharat" by 2047, aligning closely with the SDGS 2030. Confirming to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4, the policy lays down the ground for a more inclusive, equitable, and sustainable future by focusing on quality education, digital learning, gender equality, economic growth, and sustainability. In this seminar, an attempt is made to critically examine NEP2020 by establishing an alignment with SDG 2030 and examining the execution plan of Viksit Bharat 2047. It is expected to provide platform for stakeholders to discuss, analyze, and reflect on the policy's potential impact at all levels of education incorporating legal education with special significance.

1. Curriculum and Pedagogy: The conference will evaluate the feasibility of the policy's recommendations for curriculum reform and pedagogical innovation in secondary education and HEIs.
